Chris Jones was featured in BET's show called A Time To Laugh that taped in 2009. Chris and his good friend, Marty Simpson, were featured as comedians performing their sets on the same episode, as well as both starring in multiple sketches. The most notable was the sketch when the two explored what it would be like if Jesus was on Earth today instead of 2,000 years ago. Chris played the role of a basketball loving, corn-rowed, Jesus, and Marty played a devoted disciple trying to get Jesus to stop working on his jump shot long enough to raise Lazarus from the dead.
